ABOUT OXIDIZED BITUMEN 75/25

Oxidized Bitumen 75/25 is a medium-hard bitumen grade produced from Vacuum Bottom (Vacuum Residue) through a controlled air-blowing process. This process modifies the physical properties of the base bitumen, resulting in a defined balance of hardness, penetration and softening characteristics. This bitumen grade is also commonly known as Blown Bitumen, Air-Blown Bitumen or Oxidized Asphalt.

The product is manufactured with controlled composition and consistent physical properties, making it suitable for industrial formulations and production processes where material consistency is important.

MANUFACTURING & QUALITY CONTROL

PETRO TAR CO. Oxidized Bitumen 75/25 is manufactured from Vacuum Bottom (VB) through a controlled air-blowing process. During production, air is introduced into the base bitumen under controlled conditions to modify its physical characteristics and achieve the required softening point and penetration range.
Production parameters are monitored throughout the process, while quality-control checks are performed to support consistent physical characteristics from batch to batch.
The product is supplied as high-purity oxidized bitumen without the addition or blending of Gilsonite.
